An 8˝ years old boy presenting with recurrent fever,
diarrhea, abdominal pain, hypernatremia with normal serum antidiuretic
hormone levels and abnormal renal function tests had several replies. The
authors have replied that the child has been treated as a Partial Diabetes
Insipidus as the serum ADH is normal inspite of hypernatremia when one
would expect it to be high.
