i always refuse to feed gutti and gripe water to baby.am i right or wrong. and parents always co relate diarroea with dentition.how to convince them. what to tell them.

Gutti has no role in babies. However gripe water contains "SUVA" which is a good carminative for the baby. Also the little amount of alcohol in the gripe water helps to soothe the pain of a colic.
Regarding diarrhea due to dentition, one needs to emphasize on regular cleaning of gums with a wet clean cloth just as teeth are brushed. This takes care of oral hygiene and prevents infection.
