Your daughter seems to be suffering from GER (gastroesophageal reflux). This casues regurgitation of the food that the child eats. It is commonly seen in infants and is a benign condition which the child usually outgrows. If the GER is severe causing weight loss or failure to thrive, then treatment is required. No, vomiting does not rot the cilia, however, prolonged vomiting may lead to heartburn and cause damage to the foodpipe.
