A 5wk old child was referred by health visitor regard baby not gaining wt basically bottle fed takes 5 oz every 3 hrly c&g .baseline bloods including FBC U&E LFT TFT BONE PROFILE WERE normal except sr phosphate is high which is 2.42. we have not yet got a diagnosis .but o/e has grd 3/6 sm+ CXR was normal . could you tell what other inv we do in this baby.

Since there is a systolic murmur, get an echo done to rule out a congenital heart disease. Get a venous blood analysis done to rule out acidosis. ALso check the renal function tests.
