Dear Doc, My child could not be given his regular dose of DPT booster, can he still (he is 6 now) get the regular DPT booster or we should get him only DT? As far as I know the P component will render him some complications??? He has never gotten chickenpox in his life, so can we get him immunized for that one too? Please guide. Pranesh

Answer
You need to give him DT vaccine. Also chckenpox may be given along with it.
