Treatment of infective endocarditis in brucellosis Check out the answer

Answer

Infective endocarditis is a rare complication of brucellosis and reported in 2% cases of brucella. Treatment consists of urgent surgery with valve replacement if the patient is unstable hemodyanically. In patients, with hemodynamic stability, brucellosis can be treated with appropriate antibiotics.
