Answer |
Though ciprofloxacin is not recommended in children less than 18 years of age, there is enough scientific studies that have commented on safety and effectiveness of use in children especially in typhoid. Widal test detects antibodies against O and H antigen of typhoid bacterium and thus is used for detection of enteric fever.
