Dear Sir, Is the combination of artemether+lumefantrine[lumerax from IPCA Lab] effective against P.Vivax malaria?

Answer
WHO has recommended artemether-lumefantrine for the treatment of uncomplicated malaria in a workshop in Ethiopa in 2004. However, Artemether-lumefantrine may be considered as a suitable option for second-line treatment, but, before incorporation into treatment policy, it must be pilot tested under local conditions.
