PATTERN OF CHRONIC HEPATITIS
In chronic hepatitis , persistent increase in liver enzymes like S.G.O.T., S.G.P.T. & G.G.T.P., with normal or marginally elevated bilirubin are seen. Low protein, high globulin, slightly raised cholesterol are characteristic. G. G. T. P. is sensitive in detecting chronic hepatitis.
