This is a study done at the Sangameshwar children's hospital Gulbarga from JUL to Sept 2006. This study was done on children presenting to our hospital with features of chikungunya fever like fever, rash, arthralgia etc. this study excluded all such cases which had other diagnosis confirmed like Rheumatic fever etc. this study was done keeping in mind the outbreak of chikungunya in our region and lack of a proper clinical features of these studies
