On Behalf of the Organizing Committee, it is our pleasure to invite you to participate in National Conference of Pediatric Infectious Diseases (XIth NCPID) to be held at Hotel Ramada, Cantt, Varanasi on 22nd & 23rd November 2008. Dear colleague, please mark these dates (22nd, 23rd Nov./ Saturday/Sunday) for XIth NCPID-2008 to interact in the challenging scientific programme.

Varanasi or Banaras is one of the oldest living city in the world. The English author and litterateur Mark Twain once wrote "banaras is older than history, older than tradition, older even than legend and looks as old as all of them put together." It has been a venue of numerous National and International conferences - religious, spiritual, philosophical, political, technical, Medical & Scientific.

It's a rare opportunity, God has bestowed upon all of us to get the blessings of 'LORD SHIVA' as well as to attend the prestigious conference, come and discover the art of living of people of Varanasi and enjoy the Banarasi Masti and Pan at the ghats of the river 'Ganga' as well as have an academic feast.

'Aatithi Devo Bhava' (Guest is our God) has always been a way of life with us and continuing with this age old tradition. It has indeed been a priviledge to get this opportunity to organise as event of this scope. I am grateful to the Pediatric Infectious Diseases Chapter for choosing this holy city a venue.
