Last fortnight's query of a 3 years old boy with fever, excessive sleepiness, hyperammonemia, generalized aminoaciduria. What is the cause of the hyperammonemia? Most of the readers have replied that one should rule out OTC deficiency or a metabolic disorder. The authors thank the viewers and have sent a urine organic acid screening in the child.
