A 2 month old boy presented with a history of 2 episodes of shaking movements followed by eyes rolling back and becoming limp that occurerd hours apart. Family history of epilepsy in grand mother and mother had one episode of seizure during adolescent. Laboratory data: potassium 5.9,EEG-possible LVH. Patient`s serum potassium remained high. Patient had a ventricular fibrillation like reading from the monitor which was analyzed by the cardiologist and read it as artefact. What is the diagnosis?

A 5 years old boy presented with cold for 10 days and fever at onset that lasted for 2 days. Child was treated with syrup containing paracetamol, pseudoephedrine and chlorpheniramine agents but he had no relief in the symptoms. He also used to get night time cough and severe bouts of coughing (wet in nature) in the mornings. There is no earache or pain in throat. He has no difficulty in breathing except when there is a nasal block, he breathes from the mouth. On examination, he has tenderness over the maxillary region and mucopurulent nasal discharge. Throat and chest examination is normal. Ears are normal. Other systems are normal. What is the diagnosis? How should the child be treated?
