My daughter has been puking since the day she was born. She will be three years old next month. In fact she puked in the hospital the first day she was born. I have told her doctor right along that she pukes all the time but now she is finally doing something about it. Is it true that the cilia will be rotted away from all the puking? My daughter is having an uppper GI in a few days, will that tell us what is wrong? Please respond? Check Out the Answer

Dear sir, what is the latest/updated/evidence-based management protocol for Duodenal ulcer in an adolescent child. Please specifically highlight indications for surgery. Exclude conditions like perforation or an active open bleeder caught open in cicatrized tissue due to chronicity. Is there something as failure of conservative management - necessitating surgery? My nephew who is 1 yr old infant has received exclusive breast feeding for 5mth ,but now he vomits immediately after taking feed, this has been going on for last 1 month , He is diagnosed having ,GERD, and the medical management is not benefitting him.
