I had got one child before 2 days with complain of fall from height with vomiting. It was head injury vomiting without any other signs. For ruling out internal injury, I advised brain scan.Brain CT scan reported as:
Enhancing intraventricular mass (2.3*1.8cm) in body of Lt. Lateral ventricle without hydrocephalus. Post contrast study shows significant enhancement. Mass is in relation to septum pellucidum. Cavum septum pellucidum and cavum septum vergae noted. Brain stem, 4th ventricle and cerebellum are normal. Basal ganglia and cerebral sulci are well defined. No area of attenuation or no shift in midline. Differential diagnosis? Ependymoma? Sub-ependymal giant cell astrocytoms Patinet is asymptomatic at present What can be further management?
