My 11 year old nephew has been diagnosed with synovial sarcoma 5 months ago and the one kilo mass has been removed from his abdomen (which is an uncommon site for this kind of cancer). He recently had an ultrasound and the only significant finding was splenomegaly. What does this indicate? What are the chances of recurrence? His attending pediatric oncologist did not have him undergo chemo or radio.

Dear Ahmad Known case of medulloblastoma treated surgically by nearly total excision followed by (6) courses of Cisplatin +Etopside every 3 weeks. Recurrence of the tumor with metastasis to spinal cord proved by the last (MRI). The neurosurgeon advice chemotherapy. What is your opinion....?
