one & half year old boy-first product of II-consanguinous marriage had isolated progressive motor regression. MRI showed white matter disease with prominent post.& deep white matter involvement without contrast enhancement. Three senior pediatric neurologist have labelled it as leukodystrophy. VLCFA-WNL. Last neurologist bluntly conveyed poor outcome & non availability of any solution in allopathy & advised for help of alternative medicine. With no definite metabolic diagnosis,mode of inheritance how can this pessimistic approach be justified? Please answer in this regards- 1)Availability & usefullness of further diagnostic workup. 2)therapeutic options(in all existing pathies with some predictable help)

Dear sir 4y male child present with abnormal jerky movement involving all the body with ataxia &frequent falling.Mentation is going down with abnormal behavior&loss of previous skills.All his symptoms started one year ago,before that he is quite normal.Family history is +ve for similar illness in 2sibs,male&female,both died at the age of 6y..Both parents are close relative . O/E nice child look abnormal ,ataxic, recurrent myoclonic fits.He is blind,deaf,spastic.CAT scan reveal mild brain atrophy. 1.What is the dx? 2.Any treatment...?
