Is it a functional murmur? Rule out anemia, fever and change in murmur with position. Innocent (functional) murmurs are usually systolic in time, more often faint than of moderate intensity and usually blowing in quality. They are often inconstant and vary in intensity with change in posture.If it is not a functional murmur, an echocardiography will be required to rule out a heart disease.
