A 4 yr old in good health presents with c/o CP,Palpitations,Tachycardia, Irritable behaivor. Holter showed runs of tachy only. EKG and Echo normal. Complaints continue. Well hydrated. ? What now?
Answer
Rule out hyperthyroidism. Also do a CPK-MB to rule out viral myocarditis. Occasionally Echo may be normal. Take a proper drug ingestion history such as antihistamines, caffeine and tea.
