Question
why there is pooling of secretions in throat in cerebral palsy ? which are the cephalosporins effective against salmonella typhi? can we get pupillary reflex in complete cataract? why chorea occurs in rheumatic fever?
Answer
Pooling of secretions in cerebral palsy occurs due to palatopharyngeal in coordination and improper swallowing.

For cephalosporins effective in Typhoid, read the article on TYPHOID FEVER on www.pediatriconcall.com or from the link given below:

The pupillary reaction is unaffected by a cataract.
The pathogenesis why chorea occurs in rheumatic fever is still not known. However same mechanism of immune mediated dysfunction seems to be the cause as in the heart disease.
