Dear Sir, My wife 30 years old, trying for second pregnancy, having Rubella IgG POSITIVE 76.8, is it safer to go for pregnancy. Please assist to let us know if this indicates any danger. Thanks and need your suggestion in detail what we have to do or need another labotarory testing.

A positive rubella IgG is suggestive of an infection in the past and immun ity to the disease. If the IgM is negative, it suggests that your wife is immune to the disease and there is neglibigle chance of the child being affected with rubella in the womb.
