|
Answer |
|
There have been various neuroimaging findings that have been found to be associated with macrocephaly in Glutaric acidemia Type 1. Common features on neuroimaging include increased spaces anterior to the frontotemporal lobes. Subdural fluid collections are also described. Chronic subdural effusions and hematomas are also known. Finally the neurodegeneration occurs due to basal ganglia involvement and white matter changes.
