What is the use of the drug enalpril in pediatrics? how much the dose & side effects? thanks

Answer
Role of enalapril is mainly as an antihypertensice agent. It can also be used as a nephroprotective agent in patients with proteinuria and nephrotic syndrome with Hepatitis B positive. The dose is 0.2mg/kg/day. Side effects are hyperkalemia, dry cough and elevated creatinine.
