A small girl who has been diagnosed as childhood epilepsy does not have any attack in daytime but at night when she goes to sleep after half an hour in sleep she gets the attack , this happens when she is sound sleep and she keeps staring will not response ? but in 15-20 mins she then says she wants to sleep after that she comes to normal . is there any solution or comment?
Answer
Get a video EEG done to detect whether it is sleep epilepsy. Depending on the epileptic pattern, one may need to give required ACT.
