Dear sir, i have a neonate with suspected down's[karyotyping report awaited],with poor feeding.Is there some special method to feed the neonate?kindly ans. & oblige.

Answer
What is the cause of poor feeding? Is it due to palatopharyngeal incompetence or due to any birth asphyxia? If there is recurrent vomiting, reflux may be suspected and thickeing the feeds may help.
