Question
What investigations should be done in a case of hypercalciuria? Other than urine spot calcium creatinine ratio?
Answer
You may need to do USG kidneys to look for nephrocalcinosis and renal stones. Also blood gases may be required to rule out distal RTA. Also serum calcium and creatinine is required. Depending on the cause of hypercalcuria further tests may be required such as Vitamin D levels etc.
