LUMP IN ABDOMEN IN CHILDREN
This is accumulation of urine in the pelvis of the kidney due to an obstruction to the passage of urine from the pelvis to the bladder. The stretching and dilatation of the renal pelvis can form a palpable mass in the abdomen. This will be discussed separately later, but requires a proper investigation and then appropriate surgery to relieve the obstruction and allow urine to flow smoothly into the bladder.
Toilet Training in Children
Parents often want to toilet train their children as soon as possible. However, do not start toilet training until both you (parents) and your child are ready. If you try to rush it you'll have more problems and toilet training will take a longer time. Usually your child is ready by the age of 18 to 24 months.
