EXPERT'S OPINION:

Question: Other than the left arm for a BCG vaccine where else can it be given now? Please help me.

Answer: BCG by convention is given on the left arm so that when the scar forms, one knows it is due to BCG. Earlier, small pox vaccine would be given over the right arm and the doctor would verify the vaccination was given by looking for small pox mark at the right arm and BCG scar on the left. Hence this convention is still followed.
