My 4 year old daughter was tested for a milk allergy. The test came back negative. When she has milk or products with milk in them she gets hives, puffy face, dark circles under her eyes and tends to be cranky. Have you heard of these signs when you are loctose intolerant?..  -Check out the answer

Should I request further testing or let it go? My son Turned 4 in February. At a previous doctor visit for his coughing, runny nose he was checked and on his abdomen she said his liver was enlarged that it was up high she could feel the grid of it at his rib and they would need to watch it in the future. Would this have anything to do with his allergys/asthma? he take zyrtec & singulair daily. Should I push for some actual testing or request he be sent to a liver doctor to ease my mind? He is little for his age very very slender he weighs just at 35 pound. He has lot of ear problems and sinus infections but otherwise o.k for now. At birth he weighed 9lb.11ounces and 20 inches. He was born they said with an infection don't know what and he wouldn't suck so he had to stay in the hospital. After the 3rd day he finally took like 2 ounces and started to suck so sent him home on the 5th day after his birth. I just wonder if something is wrong has it to do with the infection he had at birth but was told didn't know whiat it was and later he did come home.  -Check out the answer

Hello, I am working in Baroda. My 2 year old daughter is having infranta ( I can't spell it)exima problem. She gets allergy at wrists, elbows, feet and on cheeks. This appears as some kind of rashes and mainly visible during winterseason. While sleeping she scratches over and cries. More over she is having dry skin. When she was months baby we observed that her face become red after her daily bath. We showed to many chaild specialists, both alopathy and Homeapathy. Everyone tells this is due to some soaps, oils, etc. We used different medicines also. But there is no much change. I observed when ever we go to hyderad her skin looks very bright as compared to staying in Baroda. Other than this problem she is very actve and healthy. Can you please explain why it is so? and how long she has to suffer with this problem.   -Check out the answer
