My little girl has a cold and she has like a green cakey stuff coming out her eye ducts and it is itchy and has a runny nose. Her eye is not red or pink like when you have conjunctivitis. Is this still conjunctivitis?
Question Category : Eye Problems
Hello, Sir / Madam, I had earlier enquired about my daughter's condition, for which you had given a reply on 16.1.02 regarding heterochromia. I would like to know further clarifications in this matter, please. My daughter is now just 10 months old. One of her iris is black and the other is greyish-blue. It was not so evident at the time of her birth, but as she is growing up, the difference is very clear. People keep staring at her when we go out and we have to answer a lot of questions to everyone. I'm worried my daughter will have to go through the same ordeal when she grows older. You had mentioned wearing colored lenses to rectify the problem. We have some more queries in this regard: 1) How soon can she wear colored lens? Will continuous use of lens (for many years) cause any problems? 2) I have been wearing semi-soft lens for the last 3 years- even during my pregnancy period. Could this have, in any way, caused heterochromia in my daughter? 3) Is there any permanent treatment- like operation or some other treatment, so that her right eye colored can be changed to black? 4) No one else in the family( my and my husband's) has greyish blue eyes. Can this trait be passed on to the next generation through my daughter? Please do clarify on these matters, as we have not come across such cases earlier. Waiting for your reply in anticipation.

My daughter has a very uncommon eye problem. One of her eye color is black and the other is greyish-blue at the centre. We showed her to a local doctor, he said eyesight is normal, but color difference will remain. I'm very worried for her future. Can u give some remedy of example of such cases u have handled before, please? Is there something we can do to change her lens c color?
