Dear sir, My grandson aged 3yrs and 2 months is suferring from NEPHROTIC SYNDROME. Last August, he was on oral Prednisone of 30 mg /day for 6 weeks and later on 20mg every alternate day for 6 weeks.Later it was stopped. His protein in urine had come to traces within two days after start of medicine. He has relapsed it in last December after suffering from cold and cough. Protein in his urine remained more than +2 since two weeks. 30 mg of oral Prednisone/ day has been started again since last 4 days. But this time Protein in his urine is still +3. The drug is not responding as it had responded earlier. Does it require Kidney Biopsy? Please suggest us the various alternative. He often urinates small amount of urine say few drops many times a day. He is also very aggressive in nature and tries to do what we say not to be done and stubborn. Please help us and guide us. Thank you.    - Check out the answer
