I have a son 15 months old. He was able to sit and walk by support and speak some words. Few days before the case started by the following : he was not able to stand then not able to sit then he can not respond to us he sleeps on his back and can not move . only opening his eyes and he is drinking by difficulty . His reflexes is like knee jerk is normal or sometimes exaggerated please help me what is the primary diagnosis of this case.

My sisters 2 months old daughter (D.O.B. 11th August) was given following medicine for treatment of severe cold on 19th Sep. : inj. Betnasol, inj cefantral, drop sporidex, drop TUS Q, Drop betnasol, Aristozyne, phenargan & few medicine was continued for 9 days(steroid). From 27th Sep., her hand & leg movement has slowed down. Today on 13th October, leg movement is nil. Polio drop was given on 15th August. Please advice for early & proper treatment.
