My son has TSC with delayed puberty. Now that it’s started, he has developed scoliosis. We first learned of this in March and now, five months later, he has begun to wear a brace in hopes of it not getting any worse. He is sixteen. Is this a possibility I've not heard of before? MRI showed no tumors causing the curvature. Is there anyone else with this type of situation? Check Out the Answer

Hello. My younger brother (18 years) has just been diagnosed with scoliosis in this upper back. I was just wondering if you could recommend any alternative treatment for him to take or do. My 4 year old niece has a kidney stone that is 3 to 4 cm. The doctor tried to break it up with lasers to no avail. They have also told her parents that the stone is due to Renal Tubular Acidosis. Is it possible the RTA is a result of the kidney stone or is the kidney stone a result of the RTA? What is the best treatment for her at this time? Is it best to treat the stone first?
