Question Category : Squint
My daughter received an operation 3 weeks ago on correcting divergent squint (only divergent when she looks up). The 2 outward eye muscles below her canthus were released. She originally got nothing wrong in her vision. However, after operation, she has double vision and headache. From her appearance, she was obviously exotropia. The doctor-in-charge said it was an over reaction of my daughter's eye muscle. She suggested observing for 2 months. Is the operation a failure and can this be fixed? Waiting for your gracious prompt reply.
