Dear Doctor, My Son is 9 year old and he is suffering from CP. now he can walk small distance with the support of my Hand. And he studies in Normal school and he secures good ranks. But his legs are stuff, I want to know he will be able to walk independently. Up to what extent CP can be cured. What is the latest treatment for CP child and please provide me address if possible .Thank you sir please reply soon Regards Mayur parikh
Answer
For severe spasticity there are other therapies that may be tried such as Botox, Baclofen pump and tendon release surgeries. You need to consult an orthopedic surgeon for the same.
