Question
I have a 14 month old son.. He had a stomach viruse for about a week and symptoms included vomiting and diarrhea, along with sour stomach or I guess cramps.. He was eating and drinking just a little less than normal.. Now the vomiting and cramping have subsided.. The question I need answered he still has diarrhea, it has been 10 days.. Is ther anything I should give him or not give him?? Thanx Eric Waldman.
Answer
Since the diarrhea has persisted more than 10 days, one needs to rule out lactose intolerance. Do get his stool examined for the same and the best option would be to avoid milk in his diet.
