I would like to know what are the causes for the bow shaped legs which is normally seen in toddlers ? what deficiency causes it ? and what precautions can be taken from day 1 to avoid it ? Awaiting your reply My kid is 10 months old,what precautions can I take ? Please let me know
Answer
Bow legs can be due to a variety of causes.

In infants it may be a normal variant. It can be due to vitamin D deficiency, bone defect or even due to kidney disease such as renal tubular acidosis.
If bow legs are present, consult your doctor for the same.
