My friend 45 years has proteinuria. She has been taking cellcept (3 tablets a day) and prednisone (4 tablets a day). What are the side effects might be happened to her with those steroids? It is possible to stop the steroids?
Answer
Long term use of steroids may lead to osteoporosis, cataracts, high blood pressure, muscle weakness and rise in blood sugar. However, I am sure your doctor must be monitoring for these side effects. Back to All Questions
