Sir, My kid is having Wheezing problem, doctor has adviced me to give M-Kast 4 mg daily in the night for 3 to 6 months. Whether I can give this tablet to my kid for 3 to 6 months continuously. Any SIDE EFFECT will be there if we use this tablet for a long period. Pl clarift. Awaiting for your reply. |

You will have to let us know what the drug inside M-Kast is as we would not be aware of the brand. If it contains salbutamol, it cannot be given for a long time as it may lead to tolerance requiring higher doses to be effective and thus more side effects such as tremors, heart problems and electrolyte imbalance. |
