Dear sir / Madam, my son is 20 months old. He is suffering from 'Nephrotic Syndrome' from 20/04/2005. now the prednisolone dose is reduced to 15 mg / alternate day. My problem is hair is growing on his face just from 15 days . It might be due to side effect, but I want to know whether the hair will vanish after stopping prednisolone or not. Please mail me regarding this side effect. Regards, Subhashini |

The hair growth is seen with prolonged steroid therapy. This will regress with stopping of steroids. Your doctor will be monitoring for side effects of steroids. |
