My newly born infant is almost 40hrs old now. Pls adv if it is normal. An infant body is bit warmer then usual |

You can check with the thermometer. If normal, do not worry. If high first remove the extra clothing that may be wrapped around the child. If fever persists consult a doctor to rule out infection.
If temperature is normal do not worry as the baby's skin may appear warm but there is no fever. |
