Question
My newly born infant is almost 40hrs old now. Pls adv if it is normal. An infant body is bit warmer then usual
Answer
You can check with the thermometer. If normal, do not worry. If high first remove the extra clothing that may be wrapped around the child. If fever persists consult a doctor to rule out infection.
If temperature is normal do not worry as the baby's skin may appear warm but there is no fever.
