My son's rib cage appears to wing out below the sternum. Should he be seen by a specialist?
Answer
It is a condition called as Pectus carinatum. It may occur due to a heart disease, asthma. It may also be normal. Just have him evaluated by a doctor to rule out heart disease and asthma as well as Vitamin D deficiency. Back to All Questions
