My 4 months old baby has eczema since she was 1 month old. Is eczema link to asthma or will it leads to other health problems? My pediatrician told me that eczema will usually improved after the child reached his/her second birthday, is this true?
Answer
Eczema is a form of skin allergic and patients with allergic dermatitis have a higher tendency of other allergic disorders such as asthma or allergic rhinitis. However, usually children outgrow this condition and very few have allergic problems even in adulthood. Back to All Questions
