Question
My 2 1/2 year old son's refractive readings are Rt eye ---(S)+ 3.25/(C)-.25*(A)2° VD=12mm Lt eye ---(S)+ 4.25/(C)-.75*(A)166° WD=35cm mild hyperania of fundus squints inward for left eye occasionally and intermittently. Observed for about 3 months now. NO history of squint in family. What does all this mean? And what power glasses will correct the squint? Thanks.
Answer
Since your child has a cylindrical number there may be certain amount of squint found intermittently. Also any high refractive error can lead to squint. This is not a constant squint and is usually corrected with glasses.
