My son is 3 yrs. and 3 months, he suddenly developed high fever, and throat pain.Doctor advised his tonsils are with pus and he is being treated with Augmentin - Antibiotic for that. What else can we do to ease his pain and prevent?
Answer
You can give him an analgesic such as paracetamol or ibuprofen to relieve the pain. Also if he can gargle, warm salt water gargles would help. Regarding prevention, the best way to ensure is drinking boiled water and avoiding cold drinks. Back to All Questions
