Question
Sir: One more thing i want to ask is that my center of chest has more curve between the Nipples as compare to normal male. Is it ok? Thank you
Answer
The curvature in the center of the chest is known as pectus carinatum. It is seen in patients with vitamin D deficiency or in patients with chronic lung disease. If present from birth, it is a variant of development and does not cause any problems except cosmetic. If developed later on in life, rule out vitamin D deficiency and chronic lung problems.
