My 61/2 year old daughter has developed significant under arm body odour since this past summer. To date she and her classmates are unaware of it but it is noticeable to us. Is this premature? Should she start using deodorant? Is there a brand sensitive for young skin? Should we have this investigated further? Does this mean she will hit puberty much faster? Thank you.
Answer
Most likely she is sweating a lot and that is causing the problem. Make her take a bath at least twice a day and take warm water followed by cold water at the end of the bath. Back to All Questions
