My wife is lactating mother at eight months, but thinks she's pregnant. Should she continue? Is the breast milk good? And what are the implications for the baby is she continues giving him the breast milk?
Answer
Currently, no specific medical guidelines exist that define in which situations it may be risky to continue breastfeeding during pregnancy, and prenatal caregivers vary widely in their recommendations. However since your first child is already 8 months old, it may be better to wean him off the breast milk as soon as possible to a full adult diet. Back to All Questions
