My son had a 2nd degree burn and finally we are done in the whirlpool.Is it done with now except for bandage changes or will he have to have a skingraft? It is on his ankle .So we are not too worried about scarring..
Answer
If the wound is healing and the scar is small, the bandaging would do. However, if the wound is large and scarring is large, then skin graft would be a better option.
