Gripe water commonly advised for infant colic. Can gripe water affect the serum calcium level of the baby. What is the max. dosage?
Answer
No, gripe water does not affect the calcium levels in the baby. Also the dose would depend on the weight of the child. Upto 5 kg, 2.5ml would be ideal for 10kg - 5 ml, for 15 kg - 7.5ml.
